I support women building flexible, rewarding businesses that genuinely fit around family life, not against it.
Whether that is Baby Sensory, Toddler Sense, Mini Professors or Reading Fairy, my role is to help you build something you genuinely love, with real confidence, structure and support behind you from the very start.
Meet the four programmesYou are not slotting into someone else's timetable or someone else's customer list. You choose which programme feels right for you, build your own classes gradually, and grow at a pace that fits around the life you already have.
It also tends to be the lower cost way in, since you are building a customer base over time rather than paying for one that already exists. For a lot of women, that combination of low investment, full choice and real support behind you is exactly what makes starting from scratch feel far less daunting than they expected.
Each one is a programme families already know, trust and actively look for in their local area.
Calm, welcoming sessions for babies and their parents, supporting families through those early, precious months.
Lively sessions full of movement, laughter and imagination, the kind toddlers love and ask for again and again.
Hands on science sessions where children experiment, build and ask real questions about how the world works.
A playful early literacy programme built around communication, confidence and a genuine love of books.
WOW World Group has over 25 years of experience creating children's development programmes that families genuinely love, with classes now running in more than 10 countries worldwide.
Every week, more than 40,000 babies and children attend WOW classes, with families returning term after term because of the quality and trust each programme has built.
This is not about building something completely alone from scratch. It is about building a business backed by an experienced franchise network, with proven systems and people who genuinely want to help you succeed.
There is no pressure or commitment, just some honest information sent straight to your inbox.
I did not start out thinking I would run my own business. Like a lot of women, I simply wanted something that worked around my life and family, but still felt meaningful and rewarding.
That is what first led me to the WOW World Group, originally as a parent attending Baby Sensory classes with my own baby. At the time, I was working in the corporate world as a Training Manager, but I knew it no longer fitted with the life I wanted as my family grew.
Since then, I have built my own successful children's activity business, running my own classes for 16 years. Alongside that, I have spent 15 years as a Regional Franchisor for WOW Thames Valley West, supporting other women to do the same.
I still actively run my own Mini Professors classes today, alongside supporting franchisees across Baby Sensory, Toddler Sense, Mini Professors and Reading Fairy. That means my support comes from real, current experience, not just theory.
My role is to guide you through the whole process, from understanding what this opportunity really looks like, to helping you step into it with confidence and grow it into something that works for you.
You are not expected to figure everything out on your own. The structure, the support and the experience are already there, and I will be alongside you as you get started and beyond.
Lee Whitwell, WOW Thames Valley West
When you step into a WOW business, you are not figuring everything out on your own. You will have:
It is everything you need to step into business ownership with confidence and build something that works for you and your family.
You are not expected to suddenly know how to run a business overnight. The classes, structure, session content and support are already there. My role is to guide you through things step by step, helping you build your confidence as you go.
Most people do not come into this with all the answers, they simply start with the right support around them. If you would like to know a bit more, we can simply have a relaxed chat and I will answer any questions you have.
No, not at all. A lot of the women I work with have never run a business before, and many have not worked with children professionally either.
What matters far more is your personality, your enthusiasm and genuinely caring about creating great experiences for children and families. Everything else can be taught, and confidence usually comes from doing it, not before you start.
No. At this stage it is literally just a conversation. There is no sales pitch and no expectation for you to make quick decisions. It is simply a chance for you to ask questions, understand how everything works and see whether you can picture yourself doing it.
Sometimes people leave the chat excited and ready to explore more, sometimes they decide it is not the right time, and both are completely fine.
We will simply have a relaxed, informal chat. I will learn a bit more about you, your family life, what you are looking for and why this opportunity has caught your attention.
Then I will talk you through how the business works, what support looks like, and how people typically build and grow their classes over time. It is a chance to explore whether this could fit into your life and whether it feels like something you would genuinely enjoy building.
Starting a business can feel exciting, but also a little overwhelming when you imagine having to figure everything out on your own. That is one of the reasons so many women are drawn to WOW.
The programmes, class content, structure and support are already there, meaning you are able to focus on building your confidence, growing your classes and creating something that genuinely works around your life and family.
The initial franchise set up fee varies depending on the programme, with some WOW businesses starting from around two thousand to three thousand pounds plus VAT. In addition, there will be equipment and set up costs, which also vary depending on the programme you choose.
If you are exploring an established resale opportunity, there may also be an additional purchase price for the existing business, customer base and goodwill. Like most franchise businesses, there are also ongoing quarterly franchise fees which contribute towards continued support, training, systems, marketing and programme development.
Some people choose to use savings, while others explore options such as the Government Start Up Loan Scheme to help spread the cost of launching their business.
For many women, the reassurance comes from knowing they are not trying to build everything alone. There is structure, support and guidance around you from the very beginning.
The best next step is simply a relaxed conversation, where we can talk honestly about the different options, answer your questions and explore what could realistically work for you and your family.
I have recorded a short video that might help, if something in this has been sitting with you as you have read.
If something here feels right, the next step is just a quick chat.
